Goa University Admission Form

Goa University was founded in 1985. Goa University offers various courses in graduate, post graduate and various research programmes.  Some of its prominent courses are in Language and Literature, Natural Science, Social Science, Sciences and Environment, Commerce, Design etc. Read more at govtjobjaankari.blogspot.com . Course:

Goa University invites application for the MCA (Master of Computer Application) program.

Duration of Course:

The course is of thee years (6 semesters).

Educational Qualification:

Minimum Educational qualification for the post is:

Candidate should at least be graduate in any stream with at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Marks required in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC is 50%.

Aspirants should have secured at least 50 percentile or more in MAH-MCA-CET conducted in the year 2014.

Candidate should have secured at least 6 percentile in CPI.

Aspirants should note that candidate should have mathematics as one of the subject at intermediate level or graduation level.

Candidates who are in final year of any degree course may also apply for the course.

Applying Procedure:

For applying candidates have to download the application form from the website of university.  Or fill the form online and fill in all the asked details. Aspirants should submit the application form to university address before May 17, 2014.

List of documents which applicant has to submit with the application form are:

UGC NET Exam 2014

What it is?

UGC NET stands for (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is conducted to determine the JRF (Junior Research Fellowships) eligibility in the students of the capability to Lectureship in the Indian Universities as well as colleges. It is in numerous fields of study, say approximately 78   disciplines that is conducted all over India in 77 Universities Centers.

The applicant once qualified the UGC NET is liable for the JRF only when ranked as a JRF merely qualifying NET does not gives eligibility for the JRF. Eligibility Norms:

a)                Educational Qualification: The applicant must have secured at least 55% of aggregate marks in Post Graduation level from a renowned University.

b)                 Age Limit: The age of the applicant must be not more than 28 years. The age relaxation is provided to reserved category applicant.

Application Fees:  For Gen the fee amount is Rs.450/- and for OBC Rs.225/- and for SC/ST/PH/VH Categories Rs.110/-. The fee can be paid by challan issued by UGC which has to be paid by SBI plus bank charges (Rs.20/-)

How do I Apply?

Applicant has to go to the online website of the UGC and applicant can apply their online for NET.

Exam Pattern: The examination has 3 papers Paper I of 50 questions and 100 Marks, Paper-II of 50 Questions of 100 marks and Paper-III of 75 Questions of 150 marks of 1hr and 15 minutes duration (Paper-I & II) and 2 hrs 15 minutes duration (Paper III).
